If your player would like to tryout with LEMHA for the 2025-2026 for one of our teams from U8MD - U16 please register and make payment here.
With open boarders this season we welcome everyone to tryout regardless of your location or where you were registered last season.
Please register your player based on their birth year regardless if they are trying out for A or B. You do not need to attend the A tryouts to attend B tryouts. You only need to register and pay once (If you tryout for A and do not get offered a spot you do not need to register and pay again, you can go straight to B tryouts which will be posted at a later date).
You MUST be registered and payment complete (via credit card on HCR when you register) before you can attend the first tryout for your age group. The tryout fee for LEMHA is $60 and non refundable.
*Note that any players trying out for U14 and above must complete a checking clinic if they have not done so thus far. LEMHA will be holding their checking clinic on May 3rd, in class 2-3:30 at The Maedel Community Centre and on ice 4pm-5pm at Essex Arena (free to players previously registered with ENSMHA or AMHA).
How does your player get an offer with LEMHA?
Once a player has been selected, they will follow the steps below to complete their registration with Lake Erie Minor Hockey.
1. A private personalized link will be provided that allows you to register online with LEMHA.
2. A Signing Station will be set up to facilitate accepting the offer to play, and registering for the team for the upcoming season, using the personalized link provided. You will complete your registration in person prior to leaving the facility.
3. LEMHA will have staff on site to ensure each player registration is completed correctly.
4. Players who accept an offer and register are no longer eligible to continue tryouts at any other centre. The coaching staff of your new team will advise if/when they want you involved in any subsequent tryouts.
