Introducing Nick Dupuis!
Nick Dupuis
U13 A Head Coach
U13 Players and Parents,
My name is Nick Dupuis, and I’m excited to serve as the head coach for the newly formed
Amherstburg-Erie U13 team. With 19 years of experience as a police officer, I’ve developed
strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills—abilities that will help me guide
our team through the challenges of the season. As a proud husband and father of three young
athletes, I also understand the balance between home life and hockey, as well as the financial
and emotional commitment that comes with travel sports. I look forward to applying these
experiences to help our team succeed both on and off the ice.
As a young athlete, I played AA hockey and high school hockey in LaSalle, and I’ve continued
my career by playing in competitive men leagues in Toronto, Windsor, and Amherstburg. Over
the past 20 years, I’ve coached hockey at various levels, most recently with the Amherstburg
Stars U12 team. I’ve also coached baseball at various levels for the last 10 years, including the
past two seasons with the LaSalle Titans.
For the upcoming season, my focus will be on challenging players both on and off the ice with a
competition-based approach. I will emphasize skill development, teamwork, and fostering a
strong sense of camaraderie and accountability within the group. By blending individual
challenges with team-building activities, my goal is to instill a strong work ethic and a team-first
mentality in every player.
If your child is passionate about hockey and eager to grow their skills in a supportive yet
competitive environment, I encourage you to attend our tryouts. Every player will be given an
equal opportunity to showcase their abilities and earn their place on the team.
I look forward to seeing you all at tryouts!
Best regards,
Nick Dupuis
